Major Air Strike by Ukraine on Russia with Over 1,000 Drones on Election Day

Ukraine launched one of the largest air attacks of the war, involving more than 1,000 drones and missiles across Russia on the final day of parliamentary elections.

Massive Air Operation on Election Day

Ukraine launched an intense wave of missiles and drones targeting various parts of the country on the final day of parliamentary elections in Russia. The Moscow administration described this move as the largest air attack in the history of the war.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that this attack, targeting revenues funding the war machine, serves as a pressure element to compel Russia to end the war and choose peace.

Damage and Casualties in and Around Moscow

As the Kremlin administration completed the third and final day of the parliamentary elections, local official Andrey Vorobyov announced that 2 people lost their lives and 20 people were injured in the attacks.

Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin reported that 450 drones heading towards the capital were destroyed, and as a result of the attack, the Moscow Oil Refinery and a residential building were damaged.

Ministry of Defense Data and Mutual Attack Balance Sheet

The Russian Ministry of Defense announced to the public that a total of 1,110 Ukrainian drones were shot down across the country, over Crimea, and the Black Sea.

On the other hand, the Ukrainian front reported that Russian bombardments continued, noting that a clergyman was killed and four people were injured in an attack on a monastery in the Kherson region. Additionally, it was stated that a mother and her three children lost their lives in an attack in Kyiv.
