Major Success for Embry-Riddle University in U.S. News Rankings

In the U.S. News & World Report list of top higher education institutions, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University secured eight top-five finishes in areas including overall quality, innovation, and aerospace engineering.

In the annual review of best colleges and universities conducted by U.S. News & World Report, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University managed to secure a spot in the top five across eight separate categories.

These rankings included areas of central importance to the institution's mission, such as aerospace engineering, overall quality, innovation, and academic programs for student veterans.

Regional Success of Campuses

The Daytona Beach campus in Florida and the Prescott campus in Arizona achieved second place in the overall rankings for the Southern and Western regions, respectively.

The Prescott Campus demonstrated significant consistency by securing first place in the best for veterans category among schools in the Western region for the sixth consecutive time.

Status of Engineering Programs

The undergraduate aerospace engineering program at the Daytona Beach Campus placed sixth among national institutions offering a doctorate option.

Meanwhile, the undergraduate aerospace engineering program of the Prescott Campus in the category of schools without a doctorate option claimed the top spot nationwide for the second consecutive time.

University President Dr. P. Barry Butler emphasized that their priority is to prepare students for successful and impactful positions in fields such as aviation, science, engineering, and space exploration.
