Iran's Views Conveyed to Trump

The Kremlin announced that Russian President Vladimir Putin conveyed Iran's position on resolving the conflict in West Asia to US President Donald Trump. The statement noted that this contact was carried out in coordination with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian.

Diplomatic Contacts and Talks

While Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov shared information on the matter, no details were provided regarding US President Trump's response or the specifics of Iran's position. Amidst a diplomatic process that has been deadlocked since the US-Israeli strikes in February, Putin had met with Pezeshkian in Turkmenistan to offer mediation for peace.

Developments Regarding Ukraine

In addition to contacts between the leaders, a telephone conversation between Trump and Putin also addressed proposals for de-escalating the war in Ukraine. The Kremlin reported that Putin received these suggestions with understanding.

Casualties in Zaporizhzhia

On the other hand, at least 12 people, including three children, lost their lives in Russian attacks on Ukraine's Zaporizhzhia region. These acts of violence occurred following the announcement of a diesel agreement between the US and Russia.
