Russian President Vladimir Putin has arrived in the Indian capital of New Delhi for a three-day official visit to attend the BRICS Summit and hold high-level talks.

Russian President Vladimir Putin arrived in New Delhi in the early hours of Friday, accompanied by a high-level delegation, as part of his three-day visit to India for the BRICS Summit.

During the visit, Putin is scheduled to meet with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to discuss expanding bilateral trade, investment, and energy cooperation.

Flight Security and Aircraft

Known as one of the world's most heavily protected leaders, Putin travels under intense security measures and once again applied the tactic of using two identical planes flying simultaneously for this visit.

Within the framework of this strategic practice, which ensures that it remains unknown which plane the leader is on, Moscow traveled with two Ilyushin IL-96-300PU aircraft against potential risks.

Features of the Flying Kremlin

Popularly referred to as the "Flying Kremlin" or the "Doomsday Plane," the specially modified Ilyushin IL-96-300PU was developed by the Ilyushin Design Bureau in the 1980s.

With a range of approximately 11,000 kilometers, this special aircraft functions as a high-security command center equipped with encrypted communication systems, radar-jamming technology, and advanced defense systems.

Interior Furnishings and Luxury Amenities

Alongside its high-security equipment, the aircraft also features a special presidential suite that includes bedrooms, bathrooms, a kitchen, dining areas, and a large conference room.
