Six railway workers have lost their lives in Russia's latest airstrikes targeting Ukraine's critical railway infrastructure, bringing the total death toll from the bombardment in and around Kyiv to 12.

Ukraine's state railway company, Ukrzaliznytsia, announced that six of its employees were killed as a result of a ballistic missile that hit a locomotive depot in Kyiv on Tuesday.

During the massive bombardment launched by Russian forces against Kyiv and the Kyiv region, at least 12 people lost their lives, while a dozen others, including three children, were injured.
