Special Art Exhibition from NPİSTANBUL Hospital for World Mental Health Day

NPİSTANBUL Hospital opened a special mixed exhibition featuring works produced by patients in occupational therapy art workshops on the occasion of October 10 World Mental Health Day.

Opening of the Exhibition Held

The opening ceremony of the mixed exhibition titled "From the Language of Art to Life", prepared within NPİSTANBUL Hospital, was held with high participation.

At the event, original works produced in the fields of painting, ceramics, marbling, and various handicrafts were presented to the appreciation of visitors.

The Support of Art to Treatment Emphasized

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Üsküdar University Founding Rector and NPİSTANBUL Hospital Chairman of the Board Psychiatrist Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan touched upon the supporting power of art in psychiatric processes.

It was stated that not only the finished works but also the positive effects of the production phase on the mental health of the patients were kept at the forefront in the exhibition.
