Evaluation Criteria and Student Outcomes
The ranking model was built upon three core pillars: student outcomes, learning environment, and diversity. The student outcomes category accounted for 75 percent of the total score.
This category was evaluated by considering components such as graduate earnings, graduation rates, and the economic return on education.
The University's Success in the National Rankings
The University of Scranton delivered a notable performance by ranking 150th nationally in the student outcomes pillar. The institution secured the 241st position in the overall rankings.
With this result, Scranton surpassed many universities within the state, such as Washington and Jefferson, Duquesne, Pitt, and Temple.
