Turkey generated $25,021,548 in revenue from tea exports during the January-September period of 2026. According to data from the Eastern Black Sea Exporters Association, a total of 3,360 tons of tea were sent to foreign markets during this period.

Top export destinations announced
While a total of 3,360 tons of tea were exported in the first 9 months of the year, the United Kingdom, Belgium, and the USA became the countries with the highest external sales. During this period, tea sales worth $6,366,050 were made to the United Kingdom.
Belgium ranked second with tea imports valued at $5,989,977, while tea exports to the USA were recorded at $1,804,526.
Rize's share in total exports and its prominence
Holding a strategic position in Turkey's tea exports, Rize shipped a total of 1,820 tons of tea to 25 different countries during the 9-month period.
Rize alone accounted for 37 percent of Turkey's total tea exports, generating $9,205,793 in revenue.
