Two Children and Two Medics Killed in Strikes on Southern Lebanon
Airstrikes on a town in southern Lebanon killed 11 people, including children and medical personnel.
At least 11 people, including two children and two medics, were killed in Israeli airstrikes launched early in the morning on the southern Lebanese town of Kfar Rumman.
Midnight Strike in Kfar Rumman
Just after midnight, Israeli warplanes targeted a residential building in the town of Kfar Rumman in southern Lebanon. This airstrike killed nine people, including two children, and injured five others.
Drone Strike Targeting a Civilian Vehicle
In addition to the strike on the residential building, a separate Israeli drone attack targeted a civilian vehicle inside the town. As a result of this attack, two medics inside the vehicle lost their lives.
Operations Carried Out Without Warning
These fatal airstrikes and drone attacks on the town were carried out by the Israeli military without any prior online evacuation warnings. The Israeli military did not immediately respond to inquiries regarding the matter.
Increasing Military Activity in the Region
Despite the ceasefire agreement that went into effect in June aimed at halting the clashes, Israel has intensified its bombardments in southern Lebanon in recent days. Villages continue to be demolished in the occupied areas.
