Tehran-based state media had claimed that the American vessel attempted to enter a restricted area in the Strait of Hormuz. US Central Command spokesperson Captain Tim Hawkins announced to the public that this report is entirely false.
Regional Conflicts and Attacks
At least four people lost their lives and an empty hospital building was completely destroyed in Israeli airstrikes targeting southern Lebanon. It was noted that these attacks followed a drone strike carried out by Hezbollah.
