A recent report published by the Congressional Budget Office revealed that the cost of the conflict with Iran has reached at least $38 billion and that US defense missile stockpiles are dangerously depleted.
It was noted that replenishing the stockpiles to their previous levels could take approximately five years, while it is estimated that the cost will increase by an additional $3 billion for every month the conflict continues.
House of Representatives Vote
The vote in the House of Representatives resulted in 220 to 204, presenting a picture similar to previous sessions.
It was observed that alongside the majority of Democrats, a small number of Republican lawmakers also voted in favor of ending the war.
Damage to Bases in the Region
The published report stated that hundreds of buildings and structures at US bases in Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Oman, and Jordan were damaged or destroyed as a result of attacks launched by Iran.
