The North American leg of the World Cup dressage qualifiers officially starts this week in the town of Devon, Pennsylvania, bringing together renowned riders.
Excitement Begins in Devon
The North American leg of the World Cup dressage qualifiers officially kicks off this week in Devon, Pennsylvania, a suburb of Philadelphia. Missing the final in Fort Worth last April, Brittany Fraser-Beaulieu is joining the opening competition with her 12-year-old Dutch-bred horse, Jaccardo.
Star Riders on the Course
The event in Devon marks the first stop on the road to the grand final to be held in Gothenburg this season. Coming from Wellington, Florida, Kevin Kohmann will compete with his horse Sonata MF in pursuit of his fourth consecutive final appearance.
Extensive Schedule and Participation
Alongside the combination of Meagan Davis and Toronto Lightfoot from Loxahatchee, Florida, Canadian Camille Carier-Bergeron is also among the names taking the stage this weekend. Following the Devon leg, a total of nine qualifiers are planned to be held across North America.
Upcoming Stages and the Road to the Final
The thrilling competitions starting in Devon this week will continue throughout the season with five events across Toronto, Mexico, California, and Florida. Successful athletes at the end of the qualifiers will meet at the final in Gothenburg, Sweden, at the end of March.
