Yeşilay showcases technology and addiction combat projects at TEKNOFEST

The Turkish Green Crescent Society showcased technology projects prepared by young people to combat addiction at its stand established within the scope of TEKNOFEST, which opened its doors at Şanlıurfa GAP Airport.
Green Crescent Stand at TEKNOFEST
The Turkish Green Crescent Society takes part as a stakeholder in the festival carried out under the leadership of the Ministry of Industry and Technology and the T3 Foundation.
The special stand established at Şanlıurfa GAP Airport receives intense interest from festival visitors.
Competition and Finalist Projects
A total of 440 people from 10 different countries participated in the technology competition aimed at combating addiction.
Following the evaluations, approximately 100 young people involved in the 32 projects that succeeded in making it to the finals are exhibiting their work.
Correct Use of Technology
Green Crescent Vice President Sümeyye Ceylan stated that the institution has been determinedly fighting addictions since 1920.
Ceylan emphasized that instead of prohibition in internet and technology addiction, on-site, adequate, and correct use is advocated.
Awareness Activities
In addition to the projects developed by young people, various awareness-raising activities are also carried out in the Green Crescent tents at the festival area.
Officials invite all citizens to examine the activities in the area on-site and show their support.
