Health Minister Kemal Memişoğlu met with students who entered Hacettepe, Ankara, and Gazi University Medical Faculties with top rankings this year at the Ministry of Health Bilkent Campus. The medical profession and university processes were evaluated during the meeting.

Stating that Turkey has made great strides in the field of health over the past 20 years, Memişoğlu stated that the healthcare system currently touches 3 million people a day.
Information on the Number of Employees and Beds
Conveying that there are approximately 1.5 million healthcare workers, the Minister noted that approximately 253,000 of them are physicians, and that services are provided in the best way possible with 271,000 hospital beds nationwide.
