Zelensky Hosts World Leaders at Regional Summit in Ukraine

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky brought together leaders and representatives from seven regional countries in Bukovel for talks on deepening cooperation.

Carpathian Eight Summit

The first summit of the Carpathian Eight took place with the participation of Ukraine, Romania, Serbia, Poland, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Austria, and Hungary. Strengthening regional cooperation and joint steps were discussed at the meeting.

Meeting in the Shadow of Attacks

The summit in the western Ukrainian ski resort of Bukovel took place following Russian attacks carried out during the night in various regions. There were casualties and injuries in the Zhytomyr and Kharkiv regions.

Europe's Security Concerns

European countries expressed concern over Russia's increasing hybrid threats, such as sabotage, cyberattacks, disinformation, and potential drone swarms. Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk warned about Moscow's attack plans directed at Europe.

Financial Support from the European Union

Ukraine received a 3.3 billion euro tranche from the European Union as part of a financial support package aimed at strengthening its defense capacity.
