Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy took the podium at the United Nations General Assembly to address the international community. During Wednesday's session, he called for the ongoing war to be halted or for de-escalation to be achieved before the winter season.
Winter Conditions and Warning to Russia
Zelenskyy stated that the Ukrainian people are prepared for a very harsh winter. However, he also expressed that if Russia continues its attacks, Ukraine will retaliate and make the winter months quite painful for the Moscow administration as well.
