Deliberations on the 2027 Central Government Budget Bill and the 2025 Central Government Final Account Bill officially began at the TBMM Plan and Budget Committee. Procedural debates took place before the committee meeting, while opposition MPs made various statements concerning the economy, transparency, and oversight.

The TBMM Plan and Budget Committee convened under the chairmanship of AK Party Samsun Deputy Mehmet Muş. After Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz entered the hall and shook hands with the MPs one by one, Committee Chairman Muş granted the floor to deputies who requested a procedural debate. During the evaluations at the beginning of the meeting, various criticisms and demands were voiced by the opposition wing.

İYİ Party Samsun Deputy Erhan Usta stated that the budget is based on the Medium-Term Program (OVP) and therefore deliberations could not be conducted properly, while Yeni Yol Partsi Adana Deputy Sadullah Kısacık requested that the monitoring following the budget approval be spread over a dynamic process. CHP Karabük Deputy Cevdet Akay drew attention to budget oversight issues and demanded that the deliberations be broadcast live. Meanwhile, Yeni Party Antalya Deputy Cavit Arı noted that the 2027 budget must be fair. Following the completion of the speeches, Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz delivered his presentation regarding the budget and final account law proposals.
