31,054 contracted healthcare personnel to be employed
The decision by the Ministry of Health to recruit 31,054 contract health personnel, intended for deployment in regions experiencing staffing difficulties, has been published.
The decision regarding the employment of 31,054 contract health personnel within the Ministry of Health, aimed at effectively carrying out healthcare services in regions and healthcare facilities where staffing is difficult, has been published in the Official Gazette.
According to the decision signed by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, it was decided to determine the service units where contract health personnel will be employed, to be implemented in 2027. Within the scope of the regulation, the staff distribution includes 5,061 physicians and 25,955 specialist physicians/doctors; furthermore, it was stated that 25 health officers, 9 midwives, 1 dietitian, 1 health technician, and 2 nurses will also be employed.
In the details of the staff distribution according to service units, it was noted that 1 person will be assigned for emergency health services, 7 for district health directorates and community health centers, 6 for health houses, and 31,040 for inpatient treatment units. Application dates for the recruitments have not yet been announced.
