31,054 Contractual Healthcare Personnel to Be Employed in 2027
With a presidential decree published in the Official Gazette, the cadre distribution of 31,054 contracted healthcare personnel to serve in regions where it is difficult to recruit staff in 2027 has been finalized.
According to the presidential decree published in the Official Gazette, 31,054 contracted healthcare personnel will be employed in 2027 in locations and service branches where it is difficult to recruit staff, in order to effectively carry out health services.
With the decree signed by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, the service units where contracted healthcare personnel will be employed by the Ministry of Health under Law No. 4924 in 2027 have been determined.
According to the published cadre distribution, 1 person will be assigned in emergency health services, 7 in district health directorates and community health centers, 6 in health houses, and 31,040 in the inpatient treatment field. Within this scope, 5,061 general practitioners, 25,955 specialist physicians, 25 health officers, 9 midwives, 2 nurses, and one dietitian and one health technician each will be included in the cadres.
While the application calendar and exact date for the recruitment of the personnel in question have not been announced yet, details are expected to become clear in the coming days.
