A new rainy weather system will be effective across Turkey

According to the weekly weather forecasts shared by the General Directorate of Meteorology (MGM), the clear and partly cloudy weather prevailing across Turkey over the weekend will give way to a rainy system starting Monday.

While the weather is expected to be partly cloudy and occasionally rainy in the inner and western parts on Sunday, it is predicted that the system will spread to most of the country in the following days. A gradual drop in air temperatures is also expected with the rainy system.

It is estimated that showers and thunderstorms will increase their effect in most of Turkey starting from the middle of the week. Meteorology experts state that temperatures, which have been above seasonal norms, will retreat to or, in some places, below seasonal norms with the rainy weather wave.
