August Poultry Production Statistics Announced
According to data shared by the Turkish Statistical Institute, over 237 thousand tons of chicken meat were produced in August.

Chicken Meat Production Data
According to the August data announced by the Turkish Statistical Institute, a total of 237,749 tons of chicken meat was produced.
The production amount in question showed an increase of 3.7 percent compared to the same month of the previous year.
Monthly and Annual Production Comparisons
Chicken meat production in August recorded a decrease of 5.6 percent compared to the previous month.
Chicken egg production, on the other hand, exhibited a significant upward trend on both a monthly and annual basis.
Egg and Slaughter Statistics
In August, chicken egg production increased by 7.1 percent on a monthly basis.
On an annual basis, the increase rate in egg production was calculated as 21.4 percent, with 2 billion 40 million 54 thousand eggs produced.
Eight-Month Period Report
In the eight-month period covering January and August, chicken egg production rose by 18.8 percent.
In the same period, the number of slaughtered chickens increased by 1.4 percent, and chicken meat production also increased by 1.4 percent.
