The Bağbaşı Cultural Center, which has not been completed for 10 years by the Pamukkale Municipality, is preparing to enter service with an official ceremony to be held on Wednesday, October 28, 2026, at 14:00 within the scope of the 103rd anniversary celebrations of the Republic.

Saved from being abandoned to its fate through the initiatives of Pamukkale Mayor Ali Rıza Ertemur, the Bağbaşı Cultural Center was rescued from its idle state and transformed into the social life center of the region. Known for years as the building that could not be finished, the facility has been turned into a comprehensive living space featuring modern halls, culture and art workshops, sports areas, and a Child Development Center.

Making evaluations before the opening, Pamukkale Mayor Ali Rıza Ertemur stated that the building had been kept behind locked doors for 10 years and that they started working with great determination as soon as they took office. Conveying that following the activity started with sports courses, a Child Development Center was also put into service for working mothers, Ertemur invited all the people of Denizli to the official opening ceremony to be held on Wednesday, October 28, 2026, at 14:00.
