Following the US Federal Reserve's interest rate decision, Bitcoin climbed above 81 thousand dollars, but retreated to the level of 80,440 dollars on the morning of October 29, 2026, under the influence of rising oil prices and inflation concerns.

The US Federal Reserve (FED) kept its policy rate constant in the 3.75-4.00 percent range at its October meeting. While the decision was adopted with a 10-2 vote, Lisa Cook and Beth Hammack expressed opinions in favor of a 25 basis point increase. Following the decision, Fed Chair Kevin Warsh emphasized that inflation remained above the target level.

The pullback in the crypto market was also affected by rising energy prices and developments in the Middle East. While Brent crude futures finished with a 1 percent increase, conflicts in Yemen and statements regarding an attack on the Ras Tanura refinery raised supply concerns. This situation caused investors to act cautiously.

In Robinhood's third-quarter results, earnings per share dropped to 51 cents, while revenue from cryptocurrency trading fell by 55 percent to 120 million dollars. On the other hand, increases were recorded in Ethereum, XRP, Solana, and some meme coins.
