Burhaniye Healthy Life Center Serves Thousands of People Annually

Operating for over 17 years in the Burhaniye district of Balıkesir, the Burhaniye Healthy Life Center offers free preventive healthcare services to approximately 24 thousand people a year with an expert team of 14, including dietitians, psychologists, and physiotherapists.

The center provides a wide range of services, from nutrition and physical activity counseling to smoking cessation clinics, psychosocial support, KETEM, and maternal and child health units. Thanks to early screenings in the KETEM unit, citizens diagnosed with breast cancer are directed to early treatment, while citizens utilizing areas such as the smoking cessation clinic and diet unit also achieve positive results. District Health Director Specialist Dr. Betül Akbey and Responsible Physician Specialist Dr. Ramazan Ateş invite citizens to apply to the center without waiting to get sick.
