Call for Wellness Center License Applications for Businesses in Samsun
The Samsun Provincial Health Directorate has issued a call for businesses operating in the health and wellness sector to obtain Ministry-approved licenses.
Samsun Provincial Health Director Specialist Dr. Mustafa Uras has invited businesses operating in the health and wellness sectors to apply for licenses to obtain the title of Ministry of Health-approved wellness center or wellness unit.
Wellness Services and Regulatory Process
Detailed information regarding the application process was shared following the publication of the Wellness Services Regulation by the Ministry of Health. It was stated that services of a preventive and developmental nature, which do not have a therapeutic purpose, are generally defined under the scope of wellness services.
Applications That Can Be Offered in Centers
Balneotherapy, nutritional services, exercise, physiotherapy, and GETAT (Traditional and Complementary Medicine) practices can be performed in these centers. It was also conveyed that various applications such as hydrotherapy, meditation, psychological support, and salt therapy can be offered in these facilities.
Types of Facilities Eligible to Apply
It was emphasized that accommodation facilities with at least 10 rooms, as well as disability and elderly care centers, are eligible to obtain this title. Furthermore, it was stated that sports clubs and organizations operating in independent buildings can also apply.
