Citizen Who Ordered Charcoal Drawing Defrauded of 84 Thousand Liras in Edirne
A citizen named H.C.D., who wanted to order a charcoal drawing via Instagram in Edirne, applied to the police claiming that he was defrauded after sending a total of 84 thousand liras in installments to the person he communicated with via WhatsApp.
A citizen living in Edirne, named H.C.D., filed a complaint stating that he was defrauded while trying to place an order through a charcoal drawing page he encountered on the social media platform Instagram.
According to the information obtained, H.C.D., who wanted to order a charcoal drawing from a page he saw on Instagram, contacted a person regarding the process via WhatsApp. In the following stages of the order, H.C.D. stated that he sent payments in installments at different times to the other party, totaling 84 thousand liras.
Realizing that he had been defrauded, the citizen reported the situation to the police station and filed a complaint. Within the scope of the investigation launched regarding the incident, the complaint was entered into police records.
