County College of Morris (CCM) in New Jersey has announced that it will accept new applications for its apprenticeship program designed for students and adults pursuing careers in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and data science until Monday, November 2 at 11:59 PM.

The program offers participants 30 academic credits alongside 2,000 hours of paid on-the-job training under the supervision of industry professionals. Those who successfully complete the training process earn a Certificate in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science from CCM and a New Jersey Department of Labor-approved Certificate of Completion of Apprenticeship.

Nancy Binowski, Professor of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science at CCM, stated that the program provides students with real-world experience in a dynamic industry while allowing employers to discover emerging talent. Credits earned within the program can be applied toward a 60-credit associate degree and provide a pathway to transfer to four-year universities.

Carried out with the support of the New Jersey Community College Consortium for Workforce and Economic Development, this initiative holds the distinction of being one of the first US Department of Labor-approved artificial intelligence apprenticeship programs in the state. Candidates wishing to join the program can apply online, while employers can establish partnerships by contacting the institution directly.
