Denial from Turkey's Embassy in Baku Regarding Claims About Hakan Fidan's Meetings
Turkey's Embassy in Baku announced that claims in some press organs regarding secret meetings and instructions are unfounded and aimed at disinformation.
Turkey's Embassy in Baku announced that claims published in some news outlets regarding Hakan Fidan's meeting at the GYF, alleging that secret meetings and instructions were given, do not reflect the truth and consist solely of disinformation efforts.
It was stated that the news titled "Behind the scenes of Hakan Fidan's meeting at the GYF," featured in some media outlets primarily Qafqazinfo, is based on unfounded claims. The statement expressed that these publications are disinformation efforts by circles aiming to damage relations between Turkey and Azerbaijan.
It was noted that Minister Fidan had posed for courtesy photos with numerous people during his visit to Baku, among whom were members of an organization with legal status in Azerbaijan. It was emphasized that claims of a secret meeting taking place and instructions being given are entirely untrue.
The statement conveyed that false slanders were made through a letter allegedly written to the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, and that no such letter exists. It was stated that expressions in the news regarding interference in internal affairs, intelligence operations, coup and chaos plans, and influence operations are intentional lies aimed at provoking the Azerbaijani public against Turkey, and a call was made for the public not to give credence to the manipulations.
