Discussion on the Disbursement of Science, Technology, and Digital Transformation Funds in Cao Bang
At a meeting chaired by Cao Bang Provincial People's Committee Chairman Le Hai Hoa, the disbursement of funds for science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation for 2026 and bottlenecks in projects were discussed.
Le Hai Hoa, Deputy Secretary of the Cao Bang Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, chaired a meeting aimed at accelerating the disbursement of funds allocated for science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation for 2026 and addressing bottlenecks in project implementation.
Within the framework of implementing the Politburo's Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW, the Cao Bang provincial administration allocated more than 198 billion VND for science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation for 2026. To date, approximately 28.8 billion VND has been disbursed, accounting for 14.56% of the plan. Of this amount, 23.7% was allocated to science, technology, and innovation, while 11.63% was allocated to digital transformation. During the meeting, issues such as the agricultural database, telemedicine platform, medical databases, project feasibility, and the reallocation of funds were discussed.
Provincial People's Committee Chairman Le Hai Hoa stated that the current problem stems not from a lack of capital, but from the organization and implementation of projects. The Provincial Police Department, acting as the standing body of the Steering Committee, was asked to monitor tasks and establish a weekly tracking mechanism, while the Ministry of Finance was assigned the task of balancing fund allocations starting from 2027 and prioritizing feasibility.
