Distribution of the Ministry of Health's 31,054 Contracted Personnel Positions Announced
In accordance with Presidential Decree No. 2026/339, the majority of the positions consist of specialist physicians and physicians, while details regarding the application and preference calendar will be announced through official institutional notices.
The distribution of the 31,054 contracted personnel positions to be employed by the Ministry of Health in 2027 has been clarified by a Presidential decree published in the Official Gazette.
According to Presidential Decree No. 2026/339 published in the Official Gazette dated October 17, 2026, doctors make up the majority of the 31,054 contracted personnel positions determined for 2027. Of the quotas, 25,955 are allocated for specialist physician positions and 5,061 for physician positions.
The decree allocated a limited number of positions for non-physician staff. Accordingly, quotas were announced for 25 health officers, 9 midwives, 2 nurses, 1 dietitian, and 1 health technician. The process regarding application dates and the preference guide will be clarified following official announcements to be published by the institutions.
