Diyarbakır Culture Road Festival visited by 700 thousand people in the first 5 days

The Diyarbakır Culture Road Festival, organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, was attended by a total of 700 thousand art lovers within the first five days.
Participation in the First Five Days of the Festival
The events organized within the scope of the Diyarbakır Culture Road Festival, implemented by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, received intense interest. Approximately 700 thousand visitors were reached thanks to the programs held within the first five days.
One Million Visitor Target
Provincial Director of Culture and Tourism İrfan Tekin stated that they aim to reach a total of 1 million art lovers by the ninth day of the festival.
Tekin noted that this target will be achieved through various events such as author meetups, workshops, exhibitions, and concerts.
Event Program and Details
Starting on October 10 and continuing until October 18, the festival ranks among the important stops of the Turkey Culture Road Festivals.
Nearly 250 events at 14 different locations across Diyarbakır are presented to the appreciation of art lovers.
Cultural Structure and Tourism Increase
It was noted that there was intense participation from neighboring provinces in the events reflecting the multi-religious, multi-lingual, and multi-cultural structure of Mesopotamia.
Provincial Director of Culture and Tourism İrfan Tekin emphasized that this situation directly points to the increase in the tourism potential of the region.
