Ergün Kırlıkovalı: KAAN will be 6th generation with domestic engine and ANKA-3 is the best in its class
Engineer Ergün Kırlıkovalı announced that KAAN is advancing towards the sixth generation with a domestic engine and that 80 units of ANKA-3 will be delivered to the Turkish Air Force.

Attending a club event organized at Fatih Sultan Mehmet University's Haliç campus, Ergün Kırlıkovalı made evaluations regarding Turkey's national combat aircraft KAAN and the ANKA-3 projects. Kırlıkovalı stated that KAAN is moving towards the sixth generation with new domestic engines coming from TEI.
Touching upon the ANKA-3 project during the event, Kırlıkovalı stated that this aircraft is the best and at the highest level in its class, and noted that 80 units of ANKA-3 will be delivered to the Turkish Air Force.
