Exhibition featuring 29 artists opens in memory of Süleyman Saim Tekcan

The exhibition, organized by ASAŞSANAT in memory of master artist Süleyman Saim Tekcan, who passed away on October 18, and featuring works produced by 29 artists using aluminum, has opened to visitors.

The highlight of the exhibition features the works of master artist Süleyman Saim Tekcan, who was lost on October 18. While the "Untitled" series was rearranged in two dimensions by transferring Tekcan's hand drawings to a digital environment and shaped using laser cutting on plates, the "Cyclical Voyage" on the ground floor was produced using a casting technique over styrofoam molds. It can be seen that the plates contain characteristic works and images belonging to the artist.

The event, realized by ASAŞSANAT, with project management by Brieflyart and curation by Emre Zeytinoğlu, brings together sculptures and forms produced by 29 artists using aluminum material. While the flexibility, lightness, corrosion resistance, and rich surface and color options of aluminum are interpreted with different aesthetic approaches, the exhibition can be visited until November 10.
