Developed with national engineering capabilities by Fergani Space Technologies, founded by Selçuk Bayraktar, the 6th experimental satellite FRG-100D4 was sent into space on October 20, 2026, from the Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in the USA. Launched as part of SpaceX's Bandwagon-5 mission, the 160 kg satellite was placed into its target orbit at an altitude of 590 kilometers approximately 63 minutes after launch.

Featuring Fergani's highest power generation capacity, the FRG-100D4 satellite incorporates entirely national hardware, including a reaction wheel, magnetic torque rod, magnetometer, IMU, GNSS receiver, steerable solar panels, battery pack, regenerative modem, phased array antenna, and an artificial intelligence-supported computer. The in-space verification of this hardware is of significant importance for Turkey's full independence in space technologies.
