Gold prices started the week with an increase: Current figures

Gold prices recorded an increase on the first business day of the week. While gram gold found buyers at the level of 6,657 TL, ounce gold was traded around 4,179 dollars.

Gold prices recorded an increase in the morning hours of Monday, October 19, 2026. According to current data, gram gold was traded at 6,657 TL, quarter gold at 10,870 TL, Cumhuriyet gold at 43,342 TL, half gold at 21,734 TL, full gold at 43,081 TL, and gremse gold at 108,034 TL. Spot gold gained 0.3 percent, rising to 4,175.60 dollars per ounce.

Following statements by Fed Chair Kevin Warsh, expectations for an interest rate hike in October weakened, while sell-offs in stock markets and declines in US Treasury yields supported demand for gold. In the upcoming period, markets will monitor the Fed meeting on October 27-28 and the PCE price index to be announced in the US.
