Hatice Doğan’s exhibition titled "After the Migration," focusing on the traces left by migration in human memory, has opened its doors at Mecidiyeköy Sanat. Organized by IMM Culture and IMM Heritage, the event can be visited until December 6.
Mecidiyeköy Sanat is hosting Hatice Doğan’s exhibition titled "After the Migration." Organized in cooperation with IMM Culture and IMM Heritage, the exhibition can be visited free of charge every day of the week except Mondays, between 10:00 and 18:00.
The exhibition addresses the traces left by migration in human memory and in one's relationship with oneself. The artist reflects the shaping of memories and habits in a new geography through the fairytale world in her paintings. Focusing on a process of transformation rather than a destination, the works invite viewers to reflect on the concepts of belonging and memory.
