Health directors of 81 provinces came together in a critical meeting in Ankara
Strategies aimed at health investments and increasing the quality of service across Turkey were evaluated in the meeting led by Health Minister Kemal Memişoğlu.
A comprehensive Provincial Health Directors Meeting was held under the chairmanship of Minister of Health Prof. Dr. Kemal Memişoğlu with the participation of health directors from all 81 provinces between October 9-11, 2026.
Broadly Participated Health Gathering
Health directors from all 81 provinces of Turkey and senior ministry bureaucrats came together at the strategic meeting held in Ankara.
Participation from Burdur and Evaluations
Burdur Provincial Health Director Dr. M. Murat Erk was also present at the meeting and expressed his views regarding health services and ongoing investments in the province.
Investments and Future Projects
During the meeting, the current status of health services provided in the provinces was addressed, and projects planned to be implemented in the upcoming period were laid on the table.
Increasing Service Quality
Efforts to improve citizens' access to health services, strengthen the infrastructure, and make the provided services more effective were discussed.
