Sağlık personelinin hasta kayıtlarını bir çekmecede 'unutması' nedeniyle hastalar 90 dakikadan fazla beklemek zorunda kaldı.

In Ho Chi Minh City, a patient waited for more than 90 minutes for a medical examination despite completing test procedures and submitting their records; it turned out the situation was caused by health personnel forgetting the record book in a drawer.

During public feedback inspections conducted by the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health in October, various disruptions related to service procedures, communication, and patient rights were identified. In an incident reflected in the inspection, a patient was not called for a detailed examination for about 90 minutes after undergoing tests and submitting their medical records. When the patient inquired about the situation, the health personnel realized that the medical record book had remained in the desk drawer. Following the incident, the hospital acknowledged that there were shortcomings in the storage, delivery, and circulation of medical records, and that proactive communication with patients regarding the causes of delays was lacking.
