Healthcare Services Evaluated at Erol Olçok Training and Research Hospital

A comprehensive meeting was held at Hitit University Erol Olçok Training and Research Hospital under the chairmanship of Provincial Director of Health Prof. Dr. Sinan Zehir to discuss the operation of healthcare services and clinical efficiency.

According to the written statement made by the Provincial Directorate of Health, the healthcare services provided at the hospital, performance indicators, and the efficiency of the clinics were discussed. During the meeting, the effectiveness of outpatient clinics, emergency services, and inpatient services, the utilization capacity of operating rooms, and intensive care services were examined in detail. In addition, plans aimed at increasing the hospital's bed capacity were evaluated.

While medical device, surgical instrument, and personnel planning required for surgical services were discussed, it was decided to increase the service capacity of the physical therapy and rehabilitation unit. Public Hospitals Services President Dr. İhsan Demirbaş and Chief Physician Assoc. Prof. Dr. Muhammed Gömeç attended the meeting, where regulations to be made towards improving the accessibility of home healthcare services were also determined.
