The trial has begun at Winchester Crown Court in England regarding allegations that a businessman named Philip Young drugged his wife, Joanne Young, for years, exposing her to sexual assault by men he met online. While Philip Young has admitted to the charges, four male defendants accused of sexually assaulting his wife are on trial.

According to information presented to the court, 50-year-old Philip Young marketed his wife on dating and fantasy sites. It was stated that Young drugged her to the point of a 'lifeless state,' allowing strangers who came to the house during this process to sexually assault the woman. It was noted that Joanne Young stated her world 'shifted off its axis' when she learned about the situation.

Among the four defendants on trial, Connor Sanderson-Doyle, Richard Wilkins, Norman Macksoni, and Mohammed Hassan deny the charges of sexual assault and rape leveled against them. The prosecution stated that the defendants now concede the woman did not consent, but will argue they believed she was consenting at the time of the incidents.

The investigation began when explicit pornographic materials found on a social media account linked to Philip Young were reported to the police. As a result of the investigations, it was stated that video recordings documenting the abuse were accessed.
