An expert monitoring delegation from the Committee on Science, Technology and Environment met with the People's Committee of Gia Lai province to discuss the implementation of digital transformation policies under Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW for the 2024-2026 period.

The working meeting, held on the morning of October 15, was chaired by Tran Van Khai, Vice Chairman of the Committee on Science, Technology and Environment and deputy head of the monitoring delegation.

Briefing the supervision delegation, representatives of the Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee stated that the province has strengthened its leadership mechanisms and implemented numerous tasks to promote science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation.
Steps Taken to Concretize Resolutions
Within the framework of policy institutionalization, the provincial administration issued strategies, plans, and various projects to put Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW into practice during the 2024-2026 period.
Challenges Encountered During the Implementation Process
It was reported that difficulties were encountered during the execution process regarding various issues such as resource shortages, disbursement progress, project preparations, budgeting procedures, and the establishment of norms at the commune level.
Requests Made by Gia Lai Province to the Government
The People's Committee of Gia Lai province requested support from the central government in standardizing administrative procedures and improving inter-agency coordination mechanisms.
Delegation Head Praises Gia Lai's Work
Speaking at the end of the meeting, Committee Vice Chairman Tran Van Khai emphasized that Gia Lai is an important region to test how digital transformation bridges distances for the people, and he appreciated the province's efforts.
Process of Submitting the Report to Competent Authorities
Committee Vice Chairman Tran Van Khai noted that following this meeting, the finalized report will be completed and officially submitted to the competent authorities.
