Realized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the Izmir Culture Road Festival continues to welcome art lovers with a rich program ranging from exhibitions to talks, and from workshops to children's events. The events, continuing at various points in the city, will last until November 1.
Within the scope of the Izmir Culture Road Festival organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Raşit Altun's exhibition "Secret", which deals with man's confrontation with his inner world, and Pınar Karaman's exhibition "The Search", reflecting lifelong pursuits, were opened to visitors. While visitors found the opportunity to examine the equivalents of the concept of mirror in art and Sufi thought at the "Secret" exhibition in the Temporary Exhibition Hall of the Izmir Culture Arts Factory Painting and Sculpture Museum, the Historical Alsancak Train Station hosted the "The Search" exhibition.
Within the framework of the festival program, a talk titled "Contemporary Art and the Place of Women", featuring Marjon Hoogheid as a speaker, was also held at the Izmir Culture Arts Factory Zehra Çiçek Art Workshop. Alongside this meeting where the place of women in contemporary art was discussed, various workshops also took their place in the culture and arts marathon. The festival will continue to welcome its visitors with concerts, theatrical performances, exhibitions, and workshops to be held at different points of the city until November 1.
