During the fund liquidation process that started in Turkey's capital markets on September 17, 2026, the situation of PBLK investors whose transactions were not executed despite giving sell orders became clear in the General Assembly of the TBMM. The adopted bill included these investors in the liquidation provisions, while failing to provide the expected priority payment right.

Following the Capital Markets Board's (SPK) decision to liquidate 131 investment funds belonging to seven portfolio management companies, the legal process was determined for investors who gave sell orders via TEFAS before September 17, 2026, but could not access their money due to the fund's default. The regulation adopted in the General Assembly of the TBMM included these individuals in the liquidation process with the status of fund share owners.

CHP Karabük Deputy Cevdet Akay submitted a priority payment motion for this situation affecting approximately 200,000 investors, but the motion was rejected in the committee. It is stated that in the crisis involving a total of 455,758 investors, PBLK investors can seek their rights through legal channels. Assessment: The regulation's failure to grant priority payment rights indicates that investors will be subject to general liquidation sharing in the process of collecting their receivables.
