MIT Chief İbrahim Kalın Met with Abdulhamid Dbeibeh in Tripoli

Diplomatic contacts between the two countries gained momentum after Libya approved the Maritime Jurisdiction Agreement signed with Turkey. National Intelligence Organization (MIT) Chief İbrahim Kalın met with Libyan Government of National Unity Prime Minister Abdulhamid Dbeibeh in Tripoli.

Diplomatic mobility on the Ankara-Tripoli line increased following Libya's approval of the Maritime Jurisdiction Agreement made with Turkey. In this context, MIT Chief İbrahim Kalın came together with Libyan Government of National Unity Prime Minister Abdulhamid Dbeibeh in Tripoli. The meeting in Tripoli addressed the issues of Libya's political and military unity as well as its territorial integrity.

Diplomatic contacts continued with phone calls by Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan. Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan held separate phone conversations with Libyan Government of National Unity Prime Minister Abdulhamid Dbeibeh and Saddam Haftar.
