Multi-branch sports support for schools from İzmir Metropolitan Municipality

İzmir Metropolitan Municipality is continuing its sports equipment support for schools in the new academic term with the aim of strengthening equality of opportunity in sports and facilitating children's access to physical activities. Covering football, basketball, volleyball, table tennis, badminton, and chess branches, the support aims for students to experience different sports disciplines and acquire active lifestyle habits.

Carried out in line with the sports vision of İzmir Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Dr. Cemil Tugay, the efforts aim to bring children together with sports regardless of their socioeconomic conditions or the region where their schools are located.

School administrators will be able to receive the sports equipment from the teams of the Youth and Sports Services Department at the center located in the Aşık Veysel Recreation Area in Bornova. The equipment for schools in distant districts will be delivered directly to the schools by the municipal teams.
