The center management came together with the management of Trabzon Kanuni Training and Research Hospital to evaluate medical device design, personalized manufacturing, patent studies, and new targets in health technologies.
Clinical Needs and Engineering Solutions
In a statement shared by KTU METAM Board Member Özgür Kolamuç, it was emphasized that the center's core approach is to transform the physician's need into technology, and technology into human life.
Personalized Implant Development Studies
It was stated that personalized design and manufacturing studies are carried out using three-dimensional printers and advanced production infrastructure available at the center, aiming to produce solutions tailored to the anatomical features and clinical needs of the patient, particularly in the field of personalized implant development.
Strong Interinstitutional Cooperation
Aimed at turning university, industry, and hospital collaboration into a permanent structure, the center places importance on collaborations to be established with healthcare institutions and health professionals in the city, especially Trabzon City Hospital.
Goal of Opening to International Markets
While the long-term goal is to carry the developed health technologies to international markets, all physicians were invited to share the clinical problems they encounter and the medical technologies they want to be developed with the center.
