October 29 Republic Day Celebrations at CSO Ada Ankara

CSO Ada Ankara will welcome the 103rd anniversary of the Republic with arts events continuing throughout the day. Within the scope of the October 29 Republic Day, children will meet with the art of marbling, while concerts and theatrical performances will be held in three different halls.

The first gathering of the Republic Day events will take place at 15:00 in the CSO Ada Ankara Foyer area. With the "October 29 Republic Day Special Marbling Workshop," it is aimed for children to produce through art, recognize the values of the Republic, and create their own original works.

In the evening program, as of 20:00, three separate events will be staged in different halls of CSO Ada Ankara. In the Historical Hall, the Presidential Symphony Orchestra's "Republic Tangos Concert," in the Ziraat Bank Main Hall "The Voice of the Republic - 103rd Republic Day Special Concert," and in the Bankkart Blue Hall, the Ankara State Theatre's play "An Alp Written to the Sky" will meet with the audience.

At the Republic Tangos Concert to be held under the title "Rhythmic Conversation with Dinçer Özer" in the Historical Hall, Dinçer Özer will conduct and take the stage with percussion instruments. Figen Genç and Yeliz Bozkurt will serve as vocalists, Yeliz Bozkurt and Funda Özyurt as hosts, Macit Maral on saxophone, and Kemal Özen on accordion in the program.

In "The Voice of the Republic" concert in the Ziraat Bank Main Hall, the Ankara State Choir of Classical Turkish Music, the Ankara State Choir of Turkish Folk Music, and the Ankara State Performing Arts Ensemble will come together. Folk songs, songs, dance, and performing arts from different regions of Anatolia will be presented in the special show.

The Ankara State Theatre's work titled "An Alp Written to the Sky," to be staged in the theatre program, is inspired by Ziya Gökalp's life and world of ideas. The work will convey the rebirth story of a nation through the quest for truth, identity, and ideal.

While the details of the events are on the CSO Ada Ankara website, tickets can be obtained from Biletinial, the SanatCepte application, and the Biletinial box office in the CSO Ada Ankara foyer area.
