Öz Sağlık-İş Union Discussed Public Framework Protocol Issues in Antalya

Öz Sağlık-İş Union organized a panel in Antalya titled "Public Framework Protocol and Collective Labor Agreement System: Achievements, Problems and Solution Proposals." At the event, which was also attended by Minister of Labor and Social Security Prof. Dr. Vedat Işıkhan, the union management and sector representatives evaluated current developments in working life.

In his speech at the panel, Minister Vedat Işıkhan drew attention to the pioneering role of Öz Sağlık-İş Union in the sector and stated that the welfare of public employees is their primary priority. Işıkhan expressed that they will work in cooperation with the union for the new framework protocol covering the years 2027 and 2028.

Öz Sağlık-İş President Devlet Sert, on the other hand, emphasized the delays experienced in collective labor agreement processes. Stating that 600,000 public workers should not have to wait for contracts for a long time, Sert called for the resolution of high tax brackets and imbalances between worker and civil servant wages.
