Statement Regarding Public Workers' Rights from Labor Minister Işıkhan

Minister of Labor and Social Security Vedat Işıkhan made evaluations regarding the financial and social rights of public employees at the Öz Sağlık-İş Union panel held in the Kemer district of Antalya, stating that they will continue to protect the rights of all employees.

Minister of Labor and Social Security Vedat Işıkhan attended the Extended Board of Presidents and Public Framework Protocol and Collective Bargaining Agreement System Panel organized by the Öz Sağlık-İş Union in the Kemer district of Antalya. In his speech here, Işıkhan recalled that with the 2025-2026 Period Public Collective Bargaining Agreements Framework Protocol affecting 600,000 public workers, monthly gross base wages were increased to 42,000 liras.

Minister Işıkhan stated that they will continue consultations with social partners for the new period framework protocol covering the years 2027 and 2028. Taking the floor at the program, HAK-İŞ Deputy Chairman Devlet Sert called for the initiation of the new Public Framework Protocol process concerning 600,000 public workers as soon as possible.
