Peter Law Group Establishes Specialized Practice Group in Artificial Intelligence Law

Los Angeles-based boutique law firm Peter Law Group has officially launched a new practice group specializing in artificial intelligence and emerging technologies. This newly established unit aims to address legal issues arising at the intersection of artificial intelligence with business and employment law, intellectual property, digital identity, and complex litigation processes.

The firm aims to advise businesses and individuals on the responsible use of generative artificial intelligence, covering issues such as privacy, corporate governance, and human verification. Founding partner Arnold P. Peter stated that the new practice will focus on issues such as consent, ownership, discrimination, and accountability. The law firm had previously demonstrated its activity in this field by filing a federal lawsuit in the spring of 2026 on behalf of actress Q'orianka Kilcher due to the unauthorized digital manipulation of her likeness in the Avatar film series. The new department will cover numerous topics including AI governance, algorithmic employment decisions, deepfake content, and synthetic media rights.
